Deep Thoughts: Free Samples

I am a sucker for free samples. Whole Foods and Costco are pretty reliable sources and I find myself shopping at these locations frequently. Panera has little bread samples most of the time, and the major coffee shops occasionally provide samples.

I don't know how expensive it is to provide free samples, but I do know that I can list the top free samples I look for; and even though I may not purchase these items, I will make another round through the store, or choose to study at a particular coffee shop over another if I think there is a good free sample waiting.

It's silly, but then again, so is American Idol, and Britney mania. Silliness is big business.
